Chemfinet, an open marketplace for the manufacture and procurement of fine chemicals, has been a client of mhe.net since it was initially launched at an industry trade show early in 2000. 

It is an interesting story of how this long-term relationship started.  Another development company was contracted for Chemfinet’s debut.  However, shortly before the trade show, the realization was made that development was not on schedule and failure was eminent.  Although mhe.net was contacted within a month of the show, Chemfinet made its launch date with no corners cut.

On an incredibly abbreviated timeline, mhe.net was able to provide the solution with time to spare. Many changes have taken place since that initial release.  Through changes in the Chemfinet business model, including an early name change, mhe.net has managed the build process every step of the way.  In 2002, the exchange underwent a major overhaul.  A complete site redesign was coupled with a migration of the Exchange to Microsoft ASP.NET.
